"Explore the world of literature and develop your writing skills in an exciting community of published authors and poets.
Writing with style. Strong critical reading and thinking skills. Creativity. Introduction to a wide variety of ideas and cultures. What career path wouldn’t benefit from this type of experience?

As an English major at Cedar Crest College, you will master these skills—and more—while preparing for a career in writing, editing, publishing, media, public relations, marketing or business.

Our graduates have gone on to master’s and doctoral programs at the University of Arizona, Lehigh University and other top colleges and universities. Others have embarked on rewarding careers in publishing (at HarperCollins Publishers, Rodale Inc., TV Guide), business (at Air Products, Dun & Bradstreet Inc., MTV) or education."
