Professors - Put Materials on Reserve

Course Reserves - Faculty

Course reserves are course materials for a specific course that professors make available to students through the Cressman Library.

  • Physical reserves can be borrowed for two hours or more at the circulation desk.
  • E-reserves can be accessed and downloaded through Canvas.

Faculty are encouraged to link to library materials whenever possible.  Please consider swapping materials that students cannot easily access with materials already owned by the library. You can search in Worldcat/Library Catalog to see if we own specific items and find the persistent link.

Your Course Reserve/e-Reserve Options:

1.   Physical book or DVD Media.

2.   We will scan a chapter of a textbook or course materials owned by the library or by the professor and place it in e-Reserves (with two weeks' notice).

3.   Cressman Library will attempt to purchase digital copies of non-textbook supporting course materials for the library collection requested by faculty and put them on e-Reserve for students.
