Chicago/ Turabian style uses Author-Date and annotations to reference sources in text. Writers often use notes to add commentary about the source, such as a distinguishing feature of the edition, format, or to explain style decisions of how they referenced it. Endnotes can be placed at the end of a chapter or in a separate section at the end of an article or book. Chicago/ Turabian also allows writers to refer to the same source repeatedly while reducing bulk in the text.
(Author Date) or (Author Date, Page Number)
This format focuses on the creator and the publication date of the source that is being referenced.
