Chicago / Turabian Style Citation

Why Chicago/ Turabian Style?

Chicago/ Turabian style uses Author-Date and annotations to reference sources in text. Writers often use notes to add commentary about the source, such as a distinguishing feature of the edition, format, or to explain style decisions of how they referenced it. Endnotes can be placed at the end of a chapter or in a separate section at the end of an article or book. Chicago/ Turabian also allows writers to refer to the same source repeatedly while reducing bulk in the text.
